After walking through the historic center of Naples, we recommend you reach the Duomo and the Museum of the Treasure of San Gennaro, patron saint of the city to whom the Neapolitan people are strongly attached. Upon exiting, you can treat yourself to a tasty lunch break in one of the many pizzerias in the area or, if you don’t want to take too much time away from visiting the city, you can choose the famous “cuoppo fritto”, the most loved and appreciated Neapolitan street food, both by locals and tourists.
The historical tour of Naples continues
After lunch, take some time to visit the Sansevero Chapel (book in advance) which houses the statue of the Veiled Christ and is also located in the center, about 800 meters from the Duomo.
Returning to the port, before getting back on board, stop in the famous Piazza Plebiscito and admire the Royal Palace and the Maschio Angioino castle, symbol of the city of Naples. From here, in less than 10 minutes on foot, you can return to the port. Our skipper awaits you for boarding and the return to the Amalfi Coast.
